This kit will help you to have simple and beautiful natural hand-rolled candles on hand whenever you want them.
Adorn your dining table, your picnic table or your nature table with these lovely candles. The Maplerose White Beeswax Candle Making Kit contains:
- 10 eight-inch square smooth beeswax sheets
- 2 eight-inch honeycomb beeswax sheets
- 100% cotton square braid wick
- Easy to follow, simple instructions.
Smooth sheets are 1mm thick, while honeycomb sheets are 3-4 mm thick, therefore finished candles will have slightly different widths if the entire sheet is used.
You will also need scissors (for the wick) and I highly recommend a hair dryer to soften the wax for easy rolling.
PLEASE NOTE: When exposed to consistent freezing temps, beeswax sheets may become brittle and very difficult to roll, often cracking to bits. Maplerose cannot be held responsible for beeswax that becomes damaged when sent in cold temperatures.
I am located in southern BC and our winter temperatures are often not too wildly cold. When temps are hovering above zero day and night, it's still safe to send candle kits, especially within BC. If you're further away, it just depends if you want to take a chance.
Makes 12 x 8-inch taper candles.
Burntime is approximately 4-5 hours per candle.
Beeswax is 100% Canadian, from the bees of BC.
