Maplerose SOLSTICE Wool Fairy Felting Kit

The Maplerose SOLSTICE Wool Fairy Felting Kit is a great introduction to needle felting. Learn to work with this beautiful wool roving and make a magical fairy.

The Solstice fairy is made with seasonally-inspired colours. There is more than enough wool to make 2 fairies in a variety of colour combinations.

The skin tone for this fairy is dark and called "coffee." If you'd like another colour (light or medium) please let me know and I can swap it out for you.

The Fairy's dress is inspired by colours from the dead of winter - dark skies, sparkling snow and golden candle light.

You'll learn the basic needle felting techniques to make your fairy. Felting wool fairies is a little different as you want to leave the wool long and whispy and fairy-like rather than compressing it too much.

The finished fairy can be hung up to bring wonder and beauty to a room or used as a puppet for story time or used to decorate a seasonal nature table.

Each Maplerose Wool Fairy Felting Kit includes:

• Wool roving in seasonal hues - enough to make at least 2 fairies
• Dark skin tone
• 100% cotton pipecleaners
• 1 x Wizpik felting needle
• Instructions

You will also need a darning needle to finish the fairy if you plan to hang it up from a string.
