Ashford CORRIEDALE Wool Roving 20g

Ashford Corriedale Sliver wool roving, made of 100% New Zealand wool, is ideal for all fibre crafts - needle felting, spinning, wet felting and weaving.

20g bumps are popular with needle felters as smaller bits of many colours make for more dynamic landscapes and sculptures whether painting with wool or creating something cute to cuddle.

Corriedale is perfect needle felting as the fibres are long and thick and join together with ease. Great for beginner felters and loved by advanced felters.

Spin it into a fine to medium woolen, worsted or semi-worsted yarn. Corriedale will bulk after washing and has good elasticity. It is ideal for baby wear, woven, knitted or crocheted garments.

Ashford Corriedale sliver is a 100% New Zealand product with wool from pasture-fed sheep. Many of the farmers have farmed the same land for generations and take great pride in the quality of their wool and the high standard of animal husbandry. The sheep are well cared for and are not mulesed.

During processing the wool is washed with an environmentally-friendly, biodegradable detergent. The wool is then dried and dyed. The dyes comply with the strict EU regulations and can be made certified under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, a standard ensuring they are ecologically-safe products.
