These main lesson books were specifically designed to complement the 'RoadMap to Literacy' learning-to-read program. The reasoning behind the layout, spacing and colour of the lines has been well thought out to help children intrinsically with their literacy journey.
They can also be used for homeschooling. Please do have a look at the RoadMap to Literacy curriculum if you haven't already.
These main lesson books are a useful alternative for students and teachers alike wanting a lined main lesson book for the early grades.
They alternate between blank drawing sheets and soft blue 1-inch ruled sheets. Developed for students in 1st grade on who are still improving their writing proficiency.
Intended to be used once a student no longer needs the larger Early Literacy Main Lesson Book size lines, they eliminate spending instructional time to create lines or using guides under their paper.
All of the pages are 120 gsm weight paper for beautiful artwork and writing. Students can write with crayon, colored pencil or ink. These books are a large portrait size and are available in all 6 of our popular covers. They are spiral bound with 32 pages starting with a blank cover page. The lined pages have room for a title and has a margin for a decorative border.
The lined pages are 0.6 inch ruled with a dotted midline. The skip space is ½ inch.
