The Maplerose SUMMER Wool Fairy Felting Kit is a great introduction to needle felting. Learn to work with this beautiful wool roving and make a magical fairy.
There is actually very little poking compared to some projects but playing with the textures and colours is so fun!
The Summer fairy is made with seasonally-inspired colours. There is more than enough wool to make 2 fairies in a variety of colour combinations.
The skin tone for this fairy is medium and called "cookie." If you'd like another colour (light or dark) please let me know and I can swap it out for you.
The Fairy's dress is Summertime colours - bright and bold with a touch of sunshine.
Use your own creativity to decide how to use the colours for the wings and dress. Embelish your fairy with different hair styles, flowers, bows, leaves or whatever you can imagine. You'll learn the basic techniques to make all that happen.
The finished fairy can be hung up to bring wonder and beauty to a room or used as a puppet for story time or used to decorate a seasonal nature table.
