Felting on a needle felting foam block is essential.
Keep your needles in good condition and protect your body and your furniture from a jabbing felting needle. They're so sharp! And they can break easily.
And while some felters do their needle felting on just any old foam (I see you, camping foam), this block is better because it doesn't come apart while you're felting. Little bits of polyester foam in your needle felted creation is no good. This block doesn't do that.
