The Maplerose AUTUMN Wool Fairy Felting Kit is a great introduction to needle felting. Learn to work with this beautiful wool roving and make a magical fairy.
The Autumn fairy is made with seasonally-inspired colours. There is more than enough wool to make 2 fairies in a variety of colour combinations.
The skin tone for this fairy is light and called "blush." If you'd like another colour (medium or dark) please let me know and I can swap it out for you.
The Fairy's dress is Autumn colours - warm like turning leaves and ripening vegetables.
You'll learn the basic needle felting techniques to make your fairy. Felting wool fairies is a little different as you want to leave the wool long and whispy and fairy-like rather than compressing it too much.
There is actually very little poking compared to some projects but playing with the textures and colours is so fun!
The finished fairy can be hung up to bring wonder and beauty to a room or used as a puppet for story time or used to decorate a seasonal nature table.
