Maplerose MUSHROOM Felting Kit

The Maplerose Mushroom Felting Kit is the quickest way to bring all those fantastic fungi into your life.

Even the youngest felters will find this a great way to start the felting fun. It’s safer than felting freehand because it’s easier to keep the felting needle in the right spot - inside the shape!

More experienced felters will find this a great way to make A LOT of consistent shapes very quickly. 

It’s not a “cookie cutter”, but a felting shape for making consistent felted shapes. Wooly fun for everyone, but maybe not as delicious.

Use the shapes to create felted shapes with ease. Fill with batting or roving and poke-poke-poke and POOF you’ve got a shape!

Each kit includes:

• Set of 2 mushroom custom 3D printed shapes from 4 - 7cm
  
• 50 g 100% wool batting in assorted colours. Enough to make at least 30 hearts of different sizes
• Set of Wizpik needles specifically chosen for this style of felting.

Layer the wool to make a colourful effect. Embellish larger shapes with smaller shapes for unique designs.

Each set includes 2 mushrooms, 4cm - 7cm.

These shapes are custom made for Maplerose by an artist in Victoria,m BC using a 3D printer. They could also be used to cut play dough or even cookie dough but because of the nature of the 3D printing there are teeny tiny grooves that could harbour dough and lead to a bacteria party. So we don’t recommend use with food.
