Candle rolling is a soothing craft that's doesn't take too much time and is easy to do. Give them as holiday gifts - rolled or unrolled.
The Maplerose Warm Spring Honeycomb Beeswax Candle Kit contains:
- 6 or 12 honeycomb beeswax sheets
- 100% cotton square braid wick
- Easy to follow, simple instructions.
- You will also need scissors (for the wick), a metal ruler and maybe even a hair dryer to soften the wax.
Makes 6 or 12 x 8-inch taper candles. Burntime is approximately 4-5 hours per candle.
Beeswax is 100% Canadian, from the bees of Alberta. Coloured sheets contain only non-toxic dyes.
PLEASE NOTE: When exposed to consistent freezing temps, beeswax sheets may become brittle and very difficult to roll, often cracking to bits. Maplerose cannot be held responsible for beeswax that becomes damaged when sent in cold temperatures.
I am located in southern BC and our winter temperatures are often not too wildly cold. When temps are hovering above zero day and night, it's still safe to send candle kits, especially within BC. If you're further away, it just depends if you want to take a chance.
