Auris Classic Stir Xylophone Drum

The Auris Classic Stir Xylophone Drum is a beautiful, handmade, wooden musical instrument especially for younger children.

Using a simple circulating hand movement with a mallet you can create a simple natural melody. Tapping on the different slats creates another sound. The action encourages basic hand-ear-eye coordination and the drum itself encourages experimentation and creativity.
Stir drums can also be played with a wooden or glass ball. The ball is put inside the stir drum and swung around to generate the melody.

For children 3 and up. Supervision suggested for younger ones.
