Our Watercolour Paper 250gsm is HEAVY weight and also known as 175 lb paper.
This is the paper most often recommended in Waldorf curricullums for wet-on-wet painting.
One side is quite smooth, while the other has a gentle tooth to it. Use it on a smooth surface, expecially on one of our Recycled Plastic Play & Painting Boards for best results.
This watercolour paper is very thick and sturdy enough to work perfectly with wet-on-wet painting, a much loved introduction to painting in Waldorf kindergartens.
How to do wet-on-wet painting:
- Soak the paper.
- Sponge off the excess water.
- Apply diluted Stockmar watercolour paint with a big, thick brush.
- Get lost in the magic of the beautiful colours.
