Wee Weavers Weekend Classes April 19 or 20

Wee Weavers Weekend is the chance for the littlest weavers to begin their weaving journey by making their own loom and creating a beautiful tapestry on it.

The tapestry is easily completed in the class time for most. Sticks are woven into the design for a charming and woodsy look.

This process is easily replicated in the future as it uses materials mostly found around the house or in the backyard. More fibres can be purchased at HERE.

Choose which day to join the class:

Feel free to email if you have any questions.

Sheleigh (pronounced Sha-lay) Peers, your instructor, taught herself to spin on a spindle when she was 12 years old and, except for the occasional tea break, hasn’t stopped since. She is so passionate about spinning (and many textile arts) and loves to weave stories and history into her classes. Over the years she branched out into many different styles of fibre art including knitting, crochet, felting, and weaving. She continues to spin on her many historical wheels, as well as drop and supported spindles. When she isn’t fiddling with fuzz, she is working in her soil regenerative market garden with her husband and son in beautiful Balfour, BC.
