MULBERRY Silk Roving

Mulberry Silk roving, or Bombyx silk roving, is a unique and luxurious fibre you can incorporate into your felting, spinning and weaving projects. Nothing compares to the pure white sheen of silk.

Also referred to as Bombyx silk, this refers to the name of the moth that makes the silk, the bombyx mori silk moth, rather than what the moth eats (mulberry).

Mulberry silk roving takes dye brilliantly. Finished yarn has incredible drape. Blended with other fibers, it lends luxury.

Also used for paper making.
