WizPick MERINO Felting Needle Set of 6

The Wizpick MERINO needle set is especially for working with Merino and other fine fibres. Yes, these needles are quite fragile and they need a more delicate touch than when working with courser wool and a heavier needle. Be careful.

We have created these sets to help you expand your needle felting horizons and get to know some excellent needles. Understanding what the different needles can do will broaden your needle felting knowledge and allow you to tackle more intricate designs with confidence.

The Merino set includes 6 needle made especially for fine fibres:

Aqua: 40 6x0x0  - for fine wools, a finer version of blue, finishing touches, moving wool sideways, attaching prefelted embelishments, adding fine fibres.

Cream: 40 2x2x2 - for merino, early and firming stages of fine wools, fast, deep and easy penetration of medium wool, catching fine fibres, attaching hair-like fibres (mohair). A fragile needle that bends easily.

Gold: 40 3x3x0 - firming, sculpting and finishing 3D projects, securing birbres wrapped around wire or pipe cleaners, thickening areas in flat felt with a gentlre horizontal action to ease more fibres into a thin area.

Grey star: 42 1x1x1 - delicate felting and finishing touches, forming sparks in eyes, fine, slow-motions delicate work.

Peach star: 38 2x2x2x2 - for fine + medium wools, blending pieces together, patching holes.

White: 42 2x2x2 - for fine + delicate wool, finished nedle especially for merino, for the finest details. A fragile needle that bends easily.
