Sundays In May Mending Workshops
I love to mend! And I want to share that love with you, while teaching you skills and fixing your clothes.
The feeling of satifaction and accomplishment that comes over me when I fix a pair of socks or patch the hooligans' jeans is the best. And it's good for the environment and saves me a whole bunch of money. Woot!
Let me help you to fix the holes in your jeans, woolies, sweaters. Bring in your actual clothes that need mending and we will work on them together. If you don't have anything, we can find you something.
You're welcome to come to one class or two or all of them! Each week will be sure to learn a new technique and work on a different type of garment.

All Maplerose workshops take place in the shop at 669 Baker Street, upstairs from Zinnia Textiles. Just enter through Zinnia's front door and come on upstairs.

Instructor Bio:
Jenn Chic is the owner of Maplerose and has been a curious and creative crafter her whole life. One of her first businesses was a sewing and alterations service that specialized in patchwork and patches. An art school grad, mom of two wild hooligans and granddaughter of some of the most frugal women out there have made her an avid mender. It's one of her very favourite things to do.
